Scoliosis is a progressive disease causing curvature of the spine. It can affect people of all ages; not only children and adolescents, but also adults. As scoliosis progresses, the spine rotates and buckles, resulting in uneven ears, shoulders and hips. The spinal distortion of scoliosis puts undue pressure on the spinal cord and spinal nerves, which are the body’s lifeline of communication with the brain. This can result in a wide array of symptoms.
Our methods include chiropractic and rehabilitation techniques to retrain the body's tendon, ligament, muscle and nerve systems. This method is appropriate any age or degree of curve when surgery or bracing has been rejected by the patient or family for any reason. |
